Since 1986, Equal Exchange Coop, a worker-owned cooperative based in the United States, has been providing wholesome organic coffee, using fair trade practices when sourcing their product ingredients. Working with small democratically run farmers cooperatives around the world, Equal Exchange strives to not only support the incomes and workers’ rights of their coffee producers, but to also deliver a quality product to the end user-you!
As a part of their jobs, everyone who works at Equal Exchange is actually required (although it sounds like a perk to me!) to visit one of the farming cooperatives they represent, ensuring that fair trade and organic standards are being met. Employees have the chance to experience the many processes that these products go through before they reach your kitchen table.
Equal Exchange French Roast Love Buzz coffee
Equal Exchange French Roast Love Buzz coffee is rich, creamy and full bodied – never bitter and always excellent. This strong roast is a blend of organic Arabica coffee beans, with delicious 100% naturally occurring flavor notes of brown sugar, along with hints of toasted marshmallow, clove, walnut and anise. (no added flavors, just the natural subtleties of the particular coffee beans!) Love Buzz blend is sourced from small farms in Central and South America, then sent to the the Equal Exchange Roaster in the USA.
